Beamline 8.0 is a high flux undulator beamline, with 4 permanent endstations and an open port currently hosting another 9 different rollup endstations.
Research topics at beamline 8.0 include various soft X-ray Spectroscopy, XAS, XES, RIXS, REXS, SAXS, etc., on energy harvesting (solar cell), energy storage (Lithium battery) material sciences, technological material sciences, bio-functionalized material sciences, nano-sciences, surface sciences, and strongly correlated physics.
